Are You New to the Totilpay Go Application and Need Support?

While we momentarily savored the ramps, rhubarb, and asparagus that Spring had to offer, Summer is generous and we are so excited on behalf of all farmers and farmers markets for your hard work will pay off. The outdoor market season is in full swing with sidewalks full of puppies, babies, and baskets filled with local goodies. For some of you who have recently received your MarketLink equipment and are getting used to your TotilPay Go app, we understand that you may need help setting it up.

We recommend that you review this Support Page from Novo Dia Group (NDG) to troubleshoot your TotilPay Go issues. If you do not see your questions on the page, you can also schedule  a 30-minute training with a representative from NDG through their Calendly here.

If you’ve been a customer with TotilPay Go since 2021 and wonder when your free annual subscription expires, please keep a close eye out for an email from Novo Dia Group confirming your subscription renewal date.

Share Your Ideas and Experiences With the the White House Conference on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health This September

As some of you may know, the White House is hosting the second White House Conference on Food, Nutrition and Health. The first conference, which was in 1969, resulted in 1,400 nutrition and food assistance programs and recommendations being implemented at the federal and state levels. The major programs included the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), National School Lunch Program (NSLP), and the School Breakfast Program (SBP). We anticipate the second conference to be a momentous one for not only the millions participating in the federal programs but also for those working to end hunger and expand food access.

This is why it is so crucial to raise your voice as farmers, farmers market managers, community organizers, and food access heroes based on your experience with the Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) including SNAP, e-WIC, and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP). Leading up to the conference in September, the White House is hosting virtual, regional listening sessions to hear your ideas and learn about your experiences. Verbal and written inputs will help inform a national strategy that will be announced during the conference. The last day to submit your written suggestions is July 15th.

Farm Spotlight: Kasama Farm

Hawkfield Manor Market Table

This month’s spotlight goes to Kasama Farm, a Queer, Mixed Pilipinx-American led land and healing project located in Hood River County, Oregon. Leilani and Jihelah grow on a 1/2 acre using no-till methods and provide produce to their CSA members through a sliding scale system. You can catch them at the Rocky Butte Farmers Market every Saturday from June to September 24th.

Here is Kasama Farm testimonial about how MarketLink helped them reach more people:

“Having the MarketLink SNAP/EBT equipment has allowed us to be accessible to more members of our community at our farmer's market. I believe we were the only farm that accepted SNAP/EBT payment so a lot of folks thanked us for having that option be available to them. This year we will be able to also use the equipment to process monthly payments for CSA members. Working with MarketLink to get this setup was super easy!”

If you want to share your story and testimonial, please send photos and stories to news@marketlink.org or send us an email to schedule an interview.

To be featured, please send us the following:

  • 1-5 photos of your farm and/or market

  • A few sentences about the background of your farm/market and how you've benefited from the MarketLink equipment.
